Movie: Close-Up
SPOILERS!, duh...
My God, I have never seen or felt something more real...
I've had this one on my Letterboxd to-watch list for some time, too long in fact. The main reason I added it was because of Joel Haver, he has it listed as one of his all time favorites, and the ratings were really good, I assumed it to be a simple indie film with a really good story. And it was, just not the type I was expecting.
In all movies I watch, I'm mostly self aware of the fact that I'm watching a movie. There is a strict wall between reality and the movie, they are two separate distinct worlds, none of which should interfere with the other. But this... This was real, and it was beautiful.
